Sugar Land/ Houston Mommy Make-overs are a series of procedures design to return your body closer to the form it was in prior to your pregnancy. After you have had children, you are often left with sagging breast, stretch marks on your stomach, weakening of your stomach’s strength layer, and more prominent new fat pockets on your lower stomach, sides and back.
Before your mommy makeover:
During your consultation, Dr. Humble, a plastic surgeon, will discuss with you your surgical options. This includes incision placement, potential risks of the surgery and what surgery is right for you. With your input an appropriate surgical plan will be formulated that is unique to your individual circumstances.
Mommy Makeover surgery:
Mommy Makeovers are performed in the Operating Room under general anesthesia. The surgery time varies according to the amount of work that needs to be done.
Mommy makeover recovery:
Post mommy make over surgical discomfort is managed with oral pain medication and close follow up will be preformed by Dr. Humble. No sutures have to be removed since the sutures typically will be absorbable.
Patients typically return to work 1 week after their operation and aerobic exercise can be restarted 4 weeks after surgery.
