Houston Forehead/ Brow Lift

Forehead/ Brow Lift is a surgical procedure designed to restore a more youthful look to your forehead. As you age the effects of facial expression and sun damage create wrinkles in your forehead. Over time the forehead begins to droop and your eyebrows assume a lower position on your face. This is especially noticeable on the portion of the eyebrows that is furthest away from one’s nose.
Types of Brow lifts:
Many different brow lift options exist and Dr. Humble will determine what type of brow lift you require to maximize your aesthetic outcome. Both traditional brow lift procedures and newer endoscopic procedures can be utilized. The newer endoscopic techniques involve small incisions in your hair line in order to place a small camera called an endoscope. The other small incisions allow enough access to complete the surgery. In some cases a traditional brow lift procedure will be preformed. This involves a longer incision usually placed behind your hairline to be hidden from view.
Houston brow lift/ forehead lift
Forehead/Brow Lifts are performed in a certified surgical center under general anesthesia. The surgery typically takes 1-2 hours and patients are sent home the same day.
Brow lift/ forehead lift recovery:
Post forehead/ brow lift discomfort is managed with oral pain medication and close follow up will be preformed by Dr. Humble. Sutures will be removed 5-7 days after surgery.
Patients typically return to work within 1 week after their operation and aerobic exercise can be restarted one month after surgery.
