Houston Neck Lift – Neck Liposuction

Neck Lift at Sugar Land Face and Body is a surgical procedure designed to restore a more youthful look to ones neck. As you get older extra skin, fat and bands created by the underling muscle, add to your neck’s aged look.
Before your neck lift:
Dr. Humble will determine what type of neck lift you require to maximize your aesthetic outcome. Some patients elect to have additional facial procedures performed along with their neck lift. These most commonly include facelift, eyelid surgery, rhinoplasty or a chemical peel. Dr. Humble will meet with you and discuss the advantages of each surgery and along with your input will determine your surgical plan.
Your neck lift:
Neck Lifts are performed in a certified surgical center under general anesthesia. The procedure usually involves a small incision under your chin with or without liposuction. Sometimes only liposuction of your neck is needed to achieve the desired results. The surgery typically takes a couple of hours and patients are sent home the same day. Your neck will be placed in a fluffy dressing after your neck lift.
Neck Lift recovery:
Post surgical discomfort is managed with oral pain medication and close follow up will be preformed by Dr. Humble. Sutures will be removed 5-7 days after surgery.
Patients typically return to work 1 week after their operation and aerobic exercise can be restarted one month after surgery.
