What is Juvederm?:

Juvederm is a safe injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) that can be injected in one face to correct age associated loss of volume. Juvederm is categorized as a HA facial filer that is used to temporally augment soft tissue by building up one's cheek bones, filling in laugh lines, augmenting ones lips or replacing facial fat that is lost during the aging process.
What to expect during the Juvederm injection:
Patients are given a local anesthetic to provide painless injection of Juvederm. The injection process takes approximately 15 minutes. The results are immediate.
Instructions after Juvederm injections:
Cold compress can be used for comfort. Avoid aspirin, St. John’s Wort, and high doses of vitamin E for one week after treatment.
How long does Juvederm last:
Juvederm typically lasts 6-9 months.
