Skin tag removal
Skin tags are pedunculate soft benign skin growths that can develop after the second decade of life in certain areas of constant friction such as the eyelids, neck, the underarms, under the breasts or groin area.
Skin tags can be multiple and are typically asymptomatic, although they can get caught with jewelry, bra straps or underwear making them inflamed and in certain situations cutting their blood flow which results in temporary inflammation and subsequent detachment.
These growths are by considered by insurance companies as cosmetic and their removal represents an out of pocket expense. Depending on the location, size and number of lesions we offer multiple treatment options including snip removal under local anesthesia, laser treatment or liquid nitrogen cryotherapy.
