Can brown spots or wrinkles on the hands be smoothed over using laser therapy?

Yes. The use of laser skin resurfacing can smooth hands that have been damaged by overexposure to the sun or by photo-aging from other UV sources. Co2 and/or picosecond lasersor intense pulsed light (IPL) devices can be used to remove the outer skin. In turn, fractional lasers or non-ablative skin resurfacing devices, such as IPL, can generate heat in the deep tissues to remove winkles or brown spots on hands.
