Our sebaceous glands (oil glands) have extremely high affinity for charcoal. That is why we use charcoal in cleansers and masks to reduce oiliness and acne. Taking advantage of that principle, we can do a charcoal mask that we leave on the skin for 15 min followed by a gentle treatment with low intensity q-switched laser.
This treatment is relatively painless, gently exfoliates the skin and gives a nice healthy glow to the skin.
