Photofacials

Aging process of the skin is directly correlated with unprotected sun exposure. Brown spots, dynamic and static fine lines, enlarged pore size and dilated blood vessels are the prototypical signs of chronic sun damage.

At Houston Dermatology and Plastic Surgery we perform photofacials using intense pulsed light (IPL), vascular lasers (577 nm diode), nanosecond lasers (1064 nm Q-switched ND-Yag) or ablative Erbium Yag lasers depending of the degree of damage or the lesions of concern.
